Rating : FAQId : 7813041 Subject : thoughts while meditating Question : I have only in the past few days attempted to meditate. I have lain with my back straight, closed my eyes, relaxed my body and concentrated on my breathing. On web sites on meditation that I have been to, they say that this kind of meditation leads to clarity of thought. Well when I do it, my mind goes blank. I am supposed to just accept thoughts as they come but not attach importance to them, but none come. It is just an emptiness. This makes it hard for me to continue, because I dont have a lot of patience, and I get bored. Am I doing it right? Should I try some other techniques if I want to get clear thoughts, or just keep trying and hope I get the hang of it? Answer : What is your point in meditating?????? Meditation is not for atheists or non believers.... meditation is for people who want to get in touch with their higher energy, their higher self... you deny the existence of your higher self. you deny the existence of a greater being than yourself...so why bother with life? you apparently think that your ego is all there is... so why do you want to meditate??? people meditate to get in touch with their inner being, which you don't believe in. so why come to a meditation board that is dedicated to people looking for the truth?.... you don't want to know the truth.... you want to live a life full of illusion and chaos. no one can force you to experience the truth... because you have been given free will... you can live lifetime after lifetime in darkness and confusion.. til that one day you are on your death bed and you get a glimpse of something beyond what you could ever imagine... and you ask God to forgive you for not being aware of what there really is... what do you think..that when you die, thats it? what a shallow view of existence.... There is something so great and so wonderful and so magnificent right in the palm of your hand and all you see is the palm of your hand. someday you will see someday you will believe someday you will look in your heart and see all of the glory that has been there since the beginning of time .. that has been waiting for you, calling you..calling you upon deaf ears... if people come on to this board and ask for answers that are lies, they won't get it here... all they will get is arrows pointing toward the truth.... which you don't want to acknowledge... i sincerely hope that you don't waste your life living in illusion... and that you discover the truth within yourself.... what a waste of your life if you deny yourself your own glory.... peace Rating : Your closing comment is very ironic, since insulting me, snubbing my beliefs, demonstrating an ego that begs to be knocked down, and assuming that I must be wrong if I dont want what you want is hardly a way to maintain "peace". You really need to forget about how great you and your inner glory are for a moment and consider that it may be the good nature and love that people give each other in the real world that is important. And NEVER claim to know what I want. It annoys me. ![]() FAQId : 7831234 Subject : telepathy Question : what is meant by telepathy? is telepathy is a fact or just a rumour? Answer : Communicating without talking....Sending and receiving thoughts without the verbal exchange... it's faster than speaking... more precise and to the point. Has anyone ever looked at you with a certain look and you knew exactly what they were thinking? Have you ever looked at someone with a certain thought, and they immediately turned their head around and looked right into your eyes? or, what about when you're with a friend , and they say how about a...and you finish the sentence for them and they say "hey are you a mind reader?" telepathy.... if you see two peoples energy that are communicating, while they are asleep, you would see something like: "A thought leaves your aura like a little spaceship on its way to wherever you send it and then it is received within that space /[Person]" with an accompanying reaction. No verbalization was necessary for that thought to travel, or be sent.... and no verbalization was necessary to receive that thought.Yet that communication was sent and received with complete understanding. Because we are usually involved in a train of thought about something or another...we can't hear on the higher levels of consciousness. we are not aware of anything except our thoughts... our higher senses have not yet been attuned to the higher frequencies.....where telepathy takes place. When your awareness is on the higher planes of consciousness ...telepathy is second nature..and is not of the physical body. Through meditation, one can raise the level of awareness to the higher levels of consciousness. at this level the psychic senses are alive and well. if we silence the mind, we can be aware of the very best life has to offer... Communication on the higher planes of consciousness is all telepathic... if you have a master who lives on the higher planes, all of that exchange is telepathic... it's just when we take residence on the physical plane, we identify with the body ...so we feel it necessary to talk our verbal sounds.... all this activity takes place within the higher chakras, at the level of the sixth chakra, the third eye level of awareness. this is where your sixth sense and beyond blossom... if you want to learn about meditation you can go to my website www.babainstitute.org there is a free book that you can download to help you...if you wish. Your telepathy will become self evident as your awareness becomes fully conscious. so yes it is very real and accessable to you. it just needs to be uncovered... because it is already there, it's just covered up with the veil of maya. hopes this helps with your question cheers baba Rating : ![]() FAQId : 7835132 Subject : meditation Question : Interested in getting into meditation. ![]() FAQId : 7840405 Subject : mindfulness Question : hello in mindfulness meditation, you concentrate on breathing and observe the thoughts that come up like a bystander. Am i right in syaing that in the very first instance when you decide to meditate it is the EGO that decides to practice and during sitting sessions it is the EGO that decides to comeback to the breath and "observe" Well, how can i, once a bit more experienced, stop the ego trying to "help too much" Also for information you may want to spread about - I found a very loving, kind, warm sounding advisor called the Dishwasher, its very well worth reading, just go to http://www.natashascafe.com/html/washdish.html Answer : Hi impludo well...it is all Divine Consciousness it is all Lila...Gods Play... It is all Gods Will.... Big Ego will desire union for sex... Spiritual Ego desires union with all knowing intelligence [God} Both egos are Gods desire... i would say that it is the yearning of the soul to meditate... In mindfulness meditation, are you not being aware of everything that is happening? The breath is there... The infinite sound is there... The vibrational color symphony with the mandalic harmonies is there as we become still... the light is manifesting in our awareness... and as existence dissolves before your eyes and begins to move..Siva Loka is there... all throughout this time the ego comes and goes as your hearts desire is manifested... if you try to stop the ego, it becomes more strong and will manifest rock solid.... forget the ego, and anything else in the minds spectrum....forget trying to work it out through thought.... bring about your hearts desire of pure consciousness... operate trrough the heart instead of the mind... a spiritually aware soul will simply observe the essence of life, for Gods grace is moving everything along just as it should be. the thoughts will come, the ego [mind] will come and will all dissipate as your hearts desire is manifested. Understand? work through the mind and the mind continues to manifest.... work through the heart and the mind will dissolve into light. my website might be of some help? www.babainstitute.org now i will go to natashas cafe thanks for the tip... cheers babaAnswer : You are not the ego.... you are an eternal spirit you decide to meditate, not your ego.... why do you create these situations within your mind? if you were putting your energy , your awareness, into pure consciousness, you would see the answer before the question arose. as in if you were in a state of meditation this mind thing would not exist or come up at all because you would be beyond the question... Mindfullness does not imply to being with questions or thoughts that try to be solved within the mind but cannot... Operating within the framework of the mind will not bring clarity. will not bring peace and understanding. Can you be a silent observer? "let no thought arise"..to quote Ramana Maharshi let the thoughts go... in this instance they don't do us any good... just be still.... if it arises... then it will go away. [thought} yes you just let it all happen,,, without trying to influence it without being involved in it without any mind activity [all this is about having the higher consciousness itself....] Once with one of my teachers in India Maharaji Neem Karoli Baba... upon first meeting him my mind disappeared completely as i approached... the universe was in complete movement... there were no thoughts at all... we were on the plane of consciousness before thought is manifested. this was Siva Loka all of the forms upon planet earth were moving energy.... everything in existence was energy all formless moving energy ... everything perfectly complete perfect understanding upon this plane of awareness... perfect love.... ...all of a sudden my physical body began to be visible again as a thought entered the field of consciousness.. as i thought, yes i understand this... all of the movement of energy began slowing down.. and as i thought, yes i understand this, all of the movement of energy stopped, all of the forms took shape and then there was separation.... i had created separation between myself and that higher state of conciousness... by thinking! once the thoughts went away, the higher state of consciousness reappeared.... this lasted for a long time until i had a similar thought some time later... all of the flow of energy stopped and the physical plane became solidified once again by thought.... at that point my teacher said go and sit with the rest of the chelas in the back of the ashram........... if a thought (question) arises, let it return to where it came from without giving any energy to it.... and it will disappear... there are other meditations of course where you concentrate your attention at a particular place like your third eye meditation for light and clairvoyance. Or meditation on the inner sound current... these are good because you get direct contact with higher consciousness through concentrating your energy to open the door. the breath is cool, just being aware of it wherever you go ...there it is so smooth you don't even know it's there. but look inside the breath and you find the source of all existence your lifeforce and we can be aware of it no matter what we are doing.... or wherever we go. ok when i was at natashas cafe i bookmarked the places to return to..and now you have put me on the spot.... will return shortly....Yes i dig the dishwasher...pretty cool. i like the buddhist influence... ok, take it easy impludo Cheers and God bless baba Rating : Thanks for your help, so, if i have got this right it means that when i decide to meditate (decided by the ego) i just "let it all flow by". End : ![]() FAQId : 7852403 Subject : Reality and consciousness Question : Three easy simple questions for the experts: 1. What is consciousness? 2. What is reality? 3. About 16000 Americans die each year in the USA due to drunk drivers. The liquid drug ethyl alcohol has a powerful unpredictable effect on people. Why is it a legal drug? Answer : Hi Buffy Good Questions.. a satsang for all will come from the depths of consciousness.... But first we have to understand that to define consciousness is to put it in a particular place with borders and limitations, to define it into a framework locking it into time and space. which would not be a correct answer.... Consciousness is the essence of your life Consciousness is the totality of existence do you see ...the totality of life , implying that ...that is all there is ... and that would not be an understanding that would be true...... A level of existence a level of awareness a level of being there are many levels of consciousness Higher consciousness usually being from the Heart chakra up to the crown chakra and beyond. Alive Awareness, Omniscience, all knowing,.... your lifeforce is consciousness your awareness is consciousness That which we call God is Consciousness Eternal consciousness, the ultimate truth the highest consciousness pure awareness pure consciousness unconditional love During meditation we raise our level of being we raise our consciousness.. from an earthly awareness to that of light consciousness. An awareness of being... with many levels of being Most peoples consciousness { their level of awareness] is within the first three levels of consciousness of their being...... as we progress, we open the 4th level, the heart chakra and as things become clearer we see that it is the awarenes itself that is conscious. and we discover that that is who we are ... consciousness itself.... But to understand consciousness really understand it, you must experience it... beyond the words and descriptions. it's pure awareness an energy field of pure consciousness throughout the universe and beyond. the lifeforce within every living being. it's within you you can tap into that flow of consciousness through meditation, and you can experience the different levels of consciousness directly. REality...... are you ready for this? Your thoughts create your reality... Thoughts make up the physical world... they are so tightly woven together that the veil of illusion has become our reality. The scientist will look through the microscope....but they will not see consciousness....they will not understand reality. Our flow of mind activity is literally non stop. when the thoughts diminish, the light begins to shine through. When there is no thought there are no obstructions between you and the light between you and unconditional love. and pure consciousness unfolds because it has always been there but we have had it covered up with thought. All of our attachments, all our desires, all of our thoughts... they work hand in hand to keep the veil of illusion intact. when we dissolve that veil of thought forms, the veil of maya, we experience a higher level of consciousness... it's that simple....... One of my teachers Ramana said "let no thought arise" you can experience this... where there is moving consciousness where everything that you see begins to be in movement... then as you entertain a thought or two, everything stops movement, and then there is now only the world of duality.... of forms... when the flow of thought stops enlightenment begins.... this is a lot for all at once. at my website www.babainstitute.org there is a free book that you can download about meditation and all this stuff.hope this helps see you Buffy babaOh, and why is it a legal drug? same reason that the cigarette companies can sell tobacco that will give you cancer... the same reason why the FDA approves all of these medicines with side effects that can kill you..... the reason? they totally are lost within the veil of illusion.... they have not seen beyond there own ego... if all were to dissolve the veil that is woven sooooo tight then they would experience that higher truth and then none of this stuff would happen...right? Be Well Answer : Absolutely 100% for sure Total Recall. Yes, you remember everything that you experience. and the more that you experience this state of consciousness the more miracles you will see in your life. let me share with you a short atory, since you are talking about "no thought": Once with one of my teachers in India Maharaji Neem Karoli Baba... upon first meeting him my mind disappeared completely as i approached... the "I" in me did not exist.. my personal separate self did not exist and my physical body had all but disappeared... the universe was in complete movement... there were no thoughts at all... we were on the plane of consciousness before thought is manifested. this was Siva Loka all of the forms upon planet earth were moving energy.... everything in existence was energy all formless moving energy ... everything perfectly complete perfect understanding upon this plane of awareness... perfect love.... ...all of a sudden my physical body began to be visible again as a thought entered the field of consciousness.. as i thought, yes i understand this... all of the movement of energy began slowing down.. and as i thought, yes i understand this, all of the movement of energy stopped, all of the forms took shape and then there was separation.... i had created separation between myself and that higher state of conciousness... by thinking! once the thoughts went away, the higher state of consciousness reappeared.... this lasted for a long time until i had a similar thought some time later... all of the flow of energy stopped and the physical plane became solidified once again by thought.... at that point my teacher said go and sit with the rest of the chelas in the back of the ashram........... That meeting took place a long time ago...i still remember everything. through meditation we can reach that level of consciousness directly and the experience will be forever yours. as you go along and gain momentum the energy seems to help you to go in the right direction. Divine Intelligence....Gods Grace... someone once said that for every 10% of effort we put in, Gods Grace comes back 100%. The more you meditate the easier it becomes to get through the thoughts. the more you meditate the more the needless thoughts will fall away not to return. Desire is a trap. it will keep you in the lower realms of awareness it feeds thought activity of the lower chakras. Feels good to physical body but will put a damper upon your consciousness. your awareness of the higher states won't be there.... jeez i ramble God Bless Buffy hope that helps.... Rating : ![]() FAQId : 7855438 Subject : vision sqint Question : Dear expert I am 59 years old man. From one year I got EYE SQINT.why,it happens in oldage,Can we reduce sqint from vision. Before one year I have not any sqint. Yours-RAJ Answer : Hi Raj will address your squinting , but first, Why do you think that you are old? You are an eternal spirit...... Why do you identify with the body that is born and that will die? Do you know where the healing is? identify with your spirit, your eternal soul... through meditation.... Once we are in contact with the holy spirit (God) a whole change of chemistry takes place.. the body becomes revitalized and the energy frees up and begins to move. This completely postive experience shows the body a rejuvenation of your will to become whole and healthy and a transformation takes place within your whole being..... raj you are not the body. This body is a temporary refuge for you... but you seem to be choking out the very existence by creating a situation that is harmful to yourself. all of your previous questions have hinted toward this, that's why i keep suggesting meditation to you.... through meditation and direct contact with God you can achieve this rejuvenation.... You know, lately i have seen a lot of my friends all begin to use glasses to read the fine print, myself included... When i drink a lot of carrot juice my eyes are stronger and i don't squint as much. When i stand to take the eye test for drivers license, if i squint, i can read the bottom lines.... squinting usually means that things are blurry and that we are attempting to bring things into focus with clear vision.. it usually means that we need glasses right? or a stronger prescription of the ones that we have i will tell you this...squinting can damage your eyes. it puts the retina into a squeezing situation tnat is dangerous to the retina. why are all peoples eyes getting worse? there are a quite a few reasons.... one is that we don't get the minerals from the land that our food is grown in anymore. the food usually absorbs the minerals and nutrients from the soil...the earth that it was grown in. but due to constant growing in the same land for too many years, the minerals have depleted and the nutrients have been weakend. Another is that the air that we are breathing is so full of contaminates, that it burns our eyes and our nostrils.... pollution Another is radiation from the sun and all of the man made machines that radiate harmful emissions that bombard our bodies...and affect our vision. then there are the companies that produce some kind of contaminate dust that blows around all over the world...into our eyes and within the breath that we breathe. then there is the radiation from the tvs, the computers....all with effect to the eyes.. The mucous membranes of the eye will collect contaminates that will obscure vision. there is an herb called eyebright that is exellent for the eyes.. there is a chinese herb called Ju hua that is said to improve vision. Lycium is a chinese tonic herb for the liver and kidneys. it has been used in china for centuries as a tonic for long life. In chinese medicine the liver is associated with the eyes. this tonic is good for blurred vision and dizzyness as well. It improves circulation and absorbtion of nutrients by the cells. Does this help? Cheers and God Bless baba Rating : ![]() FAQId : 7875565 Subject : stress Question : If u recieve alot of stress by things happening in ur life, does ur heartbeat change? I heard that if u get alot of stress in ur youth u can get mental diseases when u grow up, is this true? A few months ago things started happening to me and I felt like my inside was ripping, i got alot of stress and now that its not that bad I think geting so much stress in that time made a change in me. I feel theres something stuck in my chest and i only feel better after i sigh. I loose my temper easly and go crazy when im annoyed. I wasn't this way before.. I always regret it after having lost my temper. Can u please answer all this questions and tell me what i can do about my temper? thank you Answer : Hi Yun Last Question first.. Meditation will actually destroy your temper... wipe it right out. I guess you knew that? Look at a teeter totter. you know what that is? a long board with a support in the middle, that allows the board to go up and down on either end. Usually a person sits on either side and you can shift the balance back and forth. thats a little like us... the teeter totter is our life. balanced sometimes, and other times we are totally off to one side or the other. Feeling good or feeling bad, feeling joy or feeling anger, happy or sad...one side or the other never quite balanced between the two but teetering back and forth. Meditation will restore the balance.... Anger is when something doesn't happen like we expect it to... if we believe in the world of duality then we are subject to all of the swings of the pendulum, the back and forth of the teeter totter.... through meditation we can reach beyond the world of duality, we can reach through to existence without anger. we find so many things peace, happiness fullfillment nirvana harmony prosperity it feels as if you have a blockage of energy in your heart chakra.. you are regreting that thing that has kept you from unfolding in your heart. Once we are centered through some breathing exercises, and the energy is moving in the right direction then through meditation the blockage will desolve.... it will dissolve through love and understanding. The Dalai Lama says that it's ok to get mad, but don't become anger. who is it that is getting angry? look back where the anger came from, what do you see? meditation is the stress buster! sometimes you can't get away from stress, but you can turn the stress into a situation in which your awareness has elevated you to a place that you can just watch it without being involved in it. so many people suffer through the stress that they have created.... we can create heaven or hell... we can create stress or bliss... stress is self imposed, since you can decide in any instant just to alleviate it.... stress will destroy all that it consumes.. do not identify with it.... stress will make your heart eradic and weak, and the energy is destructive... do not identify with it.... at any time in a lifetime of stress, one can immediately dissolve the stress. meditation will give you something new to identify with, your own truth within yourself. if we hold on to stress and anger it will comsume us. We hold on to stress and anger because it is all we know... meditation will take one into a new realm of knowledge where stress and anger cannot get a foothold, because they simply do not exist outside of the ego. meditation will oblivate the ego Once the ego dissolves, all imbalances vanish like divine magic. the real you appears, and all is in balance, this, one experiences through meditation... meditation will bring you to an awareness of your energy beyond the world of thought and duality of this world. all mental disease is found within the mind... it does not exist outside of the mind... the one that is aware of how to get outside of the mind will find enlightenment. through meditation all of your stress will disappear... all of our problems exist within the ego and the mind... because we can only see existence within a certain framework...a limited framework.. Meditation will expand your horizons. there is a free book that you can download from my website...www.babainstitute.org it might offer you some insite Cheers and be well baba Rating : ![]() FAQId : 7914989 Subject : irritable after meditation Question : I've been meditating for three or four years now on a regular basis, usually zazen, sometimes vipassana, and on occasion just counting breaths. What I am finding is that I can sometimes be a bit irritable afterwards, as if things that are out of my control bother me, especially people. On the contrary, if I don't meditate for a few days I am easier-going. Could there be a relation between my meditation and this irritability? Thanks! Answer : Sorry i didn't help you... God Bless Answer : ihayes hi again... usually after my communication with someone on the bulletin board is over, i look at the other responses... i see that you would not answer my questions, but you gave the answers to shiva for his questions...that's cool...same questions. the main concern here is you ... but it makes me feel that there is more to say, because once i was exactly in your spot... i experimented and experimented.. eventually took lsd in '68... and i saw God. ....i was in the place before thought was manifested and all of consciousness was in movement before manfesting any thought on the physical plane..... after this experience of breaking through the thought barrier...i thought yes this was a reflection of the truth...but not in purest form, because i had taken the drug.... i dropped out of college and went to india because i felt a calling and something pulling me...and i had to be able to reach that place of perfection without any external help... please bear with me because there is a point to all of this... i've been very fortunate to have sat at the masters feet... i must share an experience with you that illustrates that there is something beyond where you have reached in meditation.... after three years or so studying with different masters in india, and living in ashrams... i was ready to come back to the states thinking that my studies were complete... i had already witnessed a few miracles... had been initiated into light consciousness had experienced and seen the seven chakras had learned how to meditate had seen the void.. jeez what more did i need to see or experience? at that moment a picture off of the back page of ram das's "Be Here Now" fell out of my bag... i had never seen this picture before and don't know where it came from... it was a picture of Neem Karoli Baba who was Ram Das's Guru. the picture became animated and he said " I am still waiting for you"... eventually i found his ashram,, he was waiting outside.... there were three people standing together,,, the physical forms were all one moving energy... immediately i was transported to the plane of consciousness before thought is manifested.... there was complete conscious moving energy beyond the world of form... this was eternal, ...ther were no thoughts... ....all at once i thought yes, i understand this... and all of a sudden the movement began to slow...the forms began to appear... the thoughts vanished and all was in movement again,,,This was shiva loka.. the plane of consciousness before thought and form...there were no thought forms... all of a sudden i thought again that yes i do understand this... at that moment the world of forms became solid i was back on the physical plane... my thoughts had stopped the higher consciousness from being there anymore. immediately saw my teachers physical body and bowed at his feet... then he sent me to sit with the rest of the chelas in the back of the ashram.... ihayes i tell you this , not to boast or tout my ego, but to help you to see what we can be in touch with.... one of my teachers bathed me in pure light before the siva loka level... there was nothing but light Christ Consciousness as it is sometimes called... pure unconditional eternal loving light.... by the time i returned to physical consciousness he had gotten into a rickshaw and was a block down the road... through an enlightened master we can experience all of this... of course you open the door yourself but they can show you where the door is. somtimes it's easier in "relationship" than by yourself.... there is but one truth within you..one consciousness, one God.... all of the masters and the ascended masters point to this one truth in their teachings...from Jesus to Buddha and beyond... there are at least two fully Enlightened Masters that i know of who have millions of devotees and give this initiation freely... one of them comes from a buddhist background that you would probably enjoy... her name is Master Ching Hai [Suma Ching Hai] she is a vietnamese lady who travels all over the globe giving initiation to those who wish it... websites..http://www.godsdirectcontact.com http://www.spiritweb.org/Spirit/media.html?who=Suma%20Ching%20Hai so if you want to learn some math or language or science you go to a teacher right... usually some kind of school with teachers, right? so here we are dealing with the highest science the most purest...why would you just experiment around? you think you could experiment around and understand calculus or algebra ? probably you would get a teacher... here is something i just found on this site.. one page of Ramana Maharshi [ascended master who works in peoples dream state...he has visited me a few times] answering some questions.. website page http://www.astrocommunity.com/gangak/ramana.php well, i hope something has helped cheers ![]() Answer : Hi ihayes you actually count your breaths???? how high have you gotten? some questions... Where did you learn how to meditate? Was it a spiritual master that showed you how? or did you just pick it up? please describe what you do for each of your meditation styles.. and what do you experience with each meditation? It sounds as if you are not getting outside of the mind...{making the mind completely still and quiet} If you completely quiet the mind, and there are no thoughts ...then you merge with the higher consciousness and there is only love and peace and understanding.... pure consciousness and light. Do you reach this state of being? if you are not getting beyond the veil of maya, this would explain your situation... if you are not reaching the subtle nature of yourself, your beingness, this again would shed some light on this situation.... Not getting beyond the ego...and the irritability would manifest as exactly as you described.... Frustration for not reaching the highest state of consciousness, would be manifested just like that. Take care of yourself ihayes... ![]() Answer : It's funny, when i was in england, around 1969/1970, i had just gone through my first initiation with a spiritual master. [Actually it was one of his Mahatmas that was involved with the experience.] Right after the initiation they ushered us into a room where everyone could hang out... as i entered the room i saw a lot of sPaced out people grabbing onto my energy and trying to suck it into themselves... i said no thank you and left... Couldn't identify with any of those people... i was identifying with God... all those people scared me. but that was all my ego striving for survival.... i felt the "organization" around the teaching wanted to suck me into their lair.... as soon as i got out of the door, out of the organization, i could feel better. at that point i went to india and studied with a few masters. It's good to pick up some techniques and practice them. it is also good to be with a spiritual teacher who can actually walk with you onto a higher plane of consciousness. Then we know where the techniques are taking us... but then again Buddha didn't study buddhism with a teacher... he simply sat under the bodhi tree and became perfectly still and made the mind quiet , without thought...and became enlightened. Thats why i asked you where your meditating experience is taking you. It's very easy to spend your whole time meditating within the mind...and not realize that you are still within the mind. and it's pretty easy to not know what the meditation is going to culminate in... another reason i asked you the questions, to see if you were heading toward the light and sound, of your eternal self, or going around in circles. i teach meditation upon the light of God. through the third eye. also meditation upon the inner sound [silence] and meditation upon the breath. not counting, but just the observer being aware of the breath coming in and going out... and being still... completely still... without any thoughts. Who is it that is getting irritable? follow it back to where the irritability is coming from.. what happens? it will disappear? same way with thoughts.... they come up...and if you let them they will fall back to that place where they have come from... unless you give them any energy, and then you have them forever.... you following this? irritability exists within the mind and the ego. it does not exist outside of that... thought = the world where there is no thought, there is no world.. the world is a dream... when we sleep and dream, there are thoughts , there is the world as we create it... when we are awake there are thoughts, and there is the world... in deep sleep there are neither thoughts nor the world. if your meditation does not take you beyond the mind, beyond thought...if there is any mind activity...then you will still be in the realm of things like irritability happening. Once there is the deep experience within of seeing God...Pure Consciousness, then we identify with our spirit instead of the ego and the mind...and there is no more irritability...only bliss. you are your awareness...this is who you are why do you meditate? is it to know God? or nirvana or pure consciousness? or do you have other reasons? i know you said it feels right, but are you consciously searching for your source? or possibly not yet.... Do you want to reach higher consciousness or do you want to create a blockage that won't let you progress any further? you are creating this irritability in your mind... this is part of the world... you get angry with yourself...for not reaching beyond it... who is it that is getting angry? is that who you are? you are an eternal spirit that shines like a gazillion lights... but you are filtering it all down through colored lenses... i offer my website at www.babainstitute.org if it might be of help also there is a free book on the stuff i've been talking about, that you can download.. if it might be of help... Remember ...you are the buddha...you are the master...once the mind is quiet and still, and there are no thoughts...your celestial lights will shine... God Bless you with much light and love. Love..thats how to get rid of the irritability everytime you feel the urge to be irritated shift the energy to your heart....and the irritation will disappear.... cheers baba Rating : ![]() FUQuestion : Here's a copy of my response to shiva_06830 : Thanks for your reply... I am self-taught in meditation, I have been reading books on Buddhism for the last ten years, but only in the past few years have I regularly meditated. You say I need an "expert" to guide me, but it seems to me that most of the techniques are simple and apart from my posture, I don't think anyone could get into my mind and say if I'm doing it right or not. I experiment and then reflect on my pratice. I should mention that I have been irritable most of my life, it's not a new thing. I'm just noticing lately though that the days when I don't meditate, I am often easier-going. Meditation is not an escape for me, I do it because it feels right, it increases my awareness of life, and I think makes me a better person in general. I have been to meditation centres and generally find the people there to be odd and have nothing in common with me. Or else they are just posing too much and spewing dogma. They just don't seem natural, it seems they're trying to be something they aspire to. I don't claim to be better than them, but at least I'm not pretending to be more englightened than I am. I'm lost and I'm just searching. Maybe this gives you some insight into my problem. Thanks again. FUQuestion : actually, i don't agree. i don't doubt what people have said to me, in fact i agree with almost all of it. and i certainly don't recall putting down anyone or what they said, as i appreciate everyone's input. i do reserve the right to remain doubtful to stories of "miracles", and people who call themselves "god's direct contact" however. i never closed off the possibility of these things being true, but at some point i must make a decision, and a rational one. buddha's teaching was rational, and he did not pay attention to miracles, nor the people who claimed to produce them. i do appreciate your input, though i think you would help most people better by writing a few clear, pertinent sentences rather than 50 broken-up ideas about consciousness, form, chivas, and soka lova. your average person will just not follow you at all, and since i assume your desire is to help pepole, then i think we can say you've gone astray. thanks again. Krishnamurti? Question : Do you think U.G. Krishnamurti's statements are valid and true and reveal the real world? Is what he says about "the calamity" and the aftermath a truthful report? Is he genuine or a charlatan? Answer : Hi Julia Before your question i had never read anything from U G Krishnamurti. Saw J Krishnamurti once... but no relationship. So i went and read some stuff of U G Krishnamurti. Everyone that talks about the truth, will each have a different way of describing it... Some will say there is no such thing as enlightenment, and that it is an illusion...which is true. Some will say enlightenment is the thing...which is also true. At one point of your evolution of consciousness, each will be true for you. No matter what we say about the truth... once we put it into thought, the truth will not be found. U G Krisnamurti says that thought is your enemy and that it causes separation from your natural state... this is true. He says when you reach enlightenment you will see that it is an illusion... this is true. He says that "When the questions you have resolve themselves into just one question, your question, then that question must detonate, explode and disappear entirely, leaving behind a smoothly functioning biological organism, free of the distortion and interference of the separative thinking structure. -- U.G."... This is true...but does he take it further than that? i haven't read that much of him to see if he stops there, or if he sees that the intelligence and awareness is still there after that beautiful organism dissolves.... He says that his "calamity" was when he reached his natural state? maybe you could tell me about that, and the aftermath? or if it's online tell me where? Cheers baba Answer : Hi U G Krishnamurti certainly has a flair for the dramatic.... yes each of us goes through the same revelation to the truth... but not like that. The Truth that is revealed is the same truth... but each will experience it in their own way. Seeing your physical body disappear can be bliss or calamaty...although usually it's ecstatic to say the least. if we are holding onto any subtle part of the mind during this process there will be confusion and drama....until it is released. holding onto our ego our "I" during the death of the ego is also dramatic.... when we let go of the hold onto our separate identity we evolve into our higher body and the physical one that you see simply disappears, because it is not being used at that time.... you are not the body, nor the ego, you are the awareness. Sometimes, one persons calamity is another persons fortune. Is it connected to the body? If it is connected, what is the nature of the connection? Answer : Hi Buffy One cannot begin to explain the magnificence of Your Soul it needs to be experienced to understand the whole picture. You can find it easily in your Heart, the center of your being. you can find it in your intuition. You can find it through meditation. You're talking about that which gives you your life, that which has been your heart center since the beginning of time. That which you will animate different bodies lifetime after lifetime. Your soul is your vital energy, your very essence. But it is not an it... Your soul has a specific harmonic resonance, your soul is you... every experience that you have ever had is there, every emotion and feeling and every thought you have ever had... this is your souls makeup. Your soul is God... If the little soul merges with the heart of God ...there is no difference. A drop of water from the sea, when returned to the sea ..there is no difference. You are not the body. You are the awareness within that soul if you be as you are...if you are completely still without any interruptions, you can get in touch with your soul. All that is born will die. The body is born and the body will die and decompose and return to the elements. The Soul does not die ...it is eternal. If the soul leaves the physical body, the physical body will drop dead on the spot. we have chosen our bodies before we moved in, so to speak. if the body dies then the soul leaves that physical body. within and without the physical body there is an etheric body, when the physical body ceases, we simply travel in our etheric body to the higher vibrations of consciousness, or wherever we have chosen to go... But really Buffy, you must experience your own essence. i'm not telling you what to do, but by that i mean don't let anyone feed you a line about what is what... experience it for yourself. When we let go , no attachments, no thoughts, no distractions.... the veil will unweave itself before your very eyes. just be still.Answer : Hi Jonathan You are definitely headed in the right direction. First of all please go to my website and read the enlightened soul. It's a free book that you can download. It starts right at the beginning and guides you through some understanding and some meditation techniques that will get you started and progressing along the path. But before that let yourself get aquainted with your breath. It's the perfect starting place.... Your breath is sacred. If you simply focus your attention on your breath....you will soon become familiar with such a great relaxation and you will be aware of your awareness becoming more aware. Your breath is always with you, where ever you go and all you have to do is be aware of it... it is so smooth that you don't even notice that it is there, but within your breath is the power of the universe and your lifeforce. Your breath controls your chi. (your ki, your energy) If you control your breath you can control your thoughts... Your awareness... This is who you are... not your body, not your ego, not what you call Jonathan. You are an eternal spirit, with an eternal soul and are temporarily living in your body. The body will be born and will die... But not you. You have actually been here since the beginning of time and have lived in many bodies along the way. Meditation will take your awareness and place it within yourself. You actually focus on the higher vibrations of your being. In the book you will see how to meditate on the inner light and the inner sound of silence. There are also breathing techniques that are good for purification. In meditation, we actually want to go beyond thought. Thought makes up the world. We are always thinking, tellin our story ,so to speak... So when we meditate, we cut right through the illusion and go straight to higher consciousness. Straight to God will your meditation take you. By God...it is meant the higher vibrations, the source, your essence.... the essence of all life. There is one God. One Consciousness that we all are a part of, and meditation will take you there with a complete understanding of all that is. What exactly is enlightenment? Answer : Dear Anonymous Desire is a trap. It will keep you trapped in your mind, locked within the illusion. Thats why we meditate ... to get beyond the desires, and all of the thoughts that we constantly think. Enlightenment , if you are searching for it, is an illusion. All is already known, and we are already enlightented. Here it is in a nutshell... let no thought ariseif we desire to , and think about it etc..this is not good. if we search for God, we will not find anything... as soon as your searching has come to an end...you will find God. Im sure the authorities on the subject through the centuries never accepted any of the teachings on blind faith because it is vidya, true knowledge, that is gained in yoga, and they never had to. But I dont have the advantage of great spiritual teachers, years of meditation under my belt, or even just being born under that Eastern paradigm. At the moment, I have no good reason to believe in reincarnation. That is, I dont understand it. Ive heard of the new Buddhist neuroscience-based Algorithmic Reincarnation (Adaptive potential is a non-local, non-temporal sub-consciousness template,) but I havent heard much, and Im not sure if thats what is meant by the Yogis. I dont see the truth in postmortem life, but it makes sense to me that death is not the end of experience or existence of the self, or Self. Im a little bit confused. I guess Im attempting Jana Yoga. Is that right? Transcending the rational mind by means of itself, as a path to Truth? This method seems most appropriate in this day and age. Anyway, help me out; please explain reincarnation so that I might adopt this system. I appreciate any response, and love one which gets me somewhere. Thank you all very much. Answer : Don't know where that last sentence in my last reply came from. It wasn't intended to be there... Sorry about that. also wanted to add... probably you know all of this stuff anyway, but and this is not refering to you- i've met many people that have said that they have a complete understanding of God, because they have read all of the scriptures in all of the texts throughout the world.. yet these same people with all of their knowledge never had actually experienced God. all of their knowledge and understanding was in the thought realm...within the mind. The mind with all of it's learning and knowing is like a pool of water that someone has just thrown a stone into. you look at that pool of water and with all it's ripples you can.t see into the water you can only see the surface.... thoughts are all of those ripples... when the ripples on that pool of water stop rippling, and it's all calm and quiet, then you can see through the surface to what is within that water, similarly, when all of the thoughts cease to be and become quiet without any ripples.... ....then at that moment Samadhi and you can see beyond the surface world. Just putting thought in it's place and seeing it for what it is... as one of my teachers Ramana Maharshi says..let no thought arise. take care Randolph Thompson Dible IIAnswer : GQontheEQ wow, what a name... Good Cheers be with you. Do you really want to find the answers to all of this? No Problem. First of all... Get rid of all of your ideas and preconceptions. You don't need.... anything, ...you have everything you need. What is meant by the yogis is... experience it! i sense some missing pieces, so i'm going to go all over the place ... all of the trying to understand it through the thought process will not work. the deeper you try to go through thought and the mind, only causes your confusion. Thought can only end in more thought. Thought is manifested as the world of form on the physical plane. This is what you see, feel and touch, and hold on to because you believe it to be true. You can see the all and everything through your microscope that the scientest will hold on to for fear of letting go. When you look through the microscope you see the result of thought. You will never see your essence through that scope of vision. The truth is like that...it makes sense. The more we think about it the further away we get from it, and the more complex and confusing it gets. Take a tip from Buddha. What did he do? Nothing. He simply sat under the boddhi tree. he stopped asking questions He stopped searching He made his mind quiet and still without any interuptions or disturbances without any thoughts..... thats what the yogis do they become whole this is as you are... you can be as you are... that essence of your consciousness and your life that perfectly natural state your lifeforce can be known can be experienced...beyond the talking about it. this world is a dream it is an illusion it is made up of thought if you become perfectly still without the thoughts... ....but then you would be a buddha. the secret of the yogis is to reach beyond the form of this world to that plane of consciousness before thought takes form. it is this formless state that we can reach through meditation. The formless yogi at this level, is within you to experience. if we go beyond the thinking about it , then we can understand it.. meditation can take us to many levels of conscious awareness. all within you,so to speak. if you use the mind to transcend itself... you will never leave the mind. you are an eternal soul. you are the awareness in your life. actually you as an eternal soul have never been born and you have never died. But human bodies, because of the way we treat them do not live very long in the scope of things. at first they lived for hundreds of years.... but now because of our bad habits,...they don't last so long. the physical world is our arena of expression. so we constantly come back to do the stuff like clearing up karma or working it all out, so we can experience that which we already are and have always been.we separate ourselves from pure consciousness so that we can find our way back. each time we take a new body, we forget all we know after awhile of living on the earth. so we do meditation to help us to remember. Our thoughts and all of the stuff that we hold onto, along with our desires and our attachments to the stuff... this is what weaves the veil of maya. when you are still (No thoughts) all things are answered for you, this is your experience. the truth of the essence of life is to be found at the center of your existence. the center of your being. which has always been..... just waiting for you to tune into the right frequency.... If you follow your question back to where it has come from the answer lies in waiting for you. direct experience of the nature of God the yogi way when the question arises ...let it return to where it came from without you giving it any energy. without fear and doubt without any thought become perfectly still relax into yourself and observe your essence. Meditation will take you to an experience of your devine essence... at this level you can understand reincarnation at this level many spiritual masters will be at your service to communicate with you. to really understand all of this... you must go within and experience the truth for yourself. i ramble for illustration.. this is why meditation is so powerful... it can take us to a place where every quesion is answered before it gets asked. It can take us right through the illusion to the higher vibrations of being and existence.. i realize you didn't ask a question on meditation, but i think the answer's you are seeking can be found through this approach. if you are interested in meditation, and then you would have a reason to believe, for you would have experienced the truth within yourself... www.babainstitute.org is a very simple approach, if it may help... Blessings be with you baba ![]() Answer : Randolph In the true sense, reincarnation is an illusion. It doesn't exist. the Soul is eternal. It has never been born and it has never died. It is forever. It has been here since the beginning of time. and has animated many many bodies along the way. Every time you take a body you will accrue karma during that lifetime.... karma must be cleansed, cleared up, balanced. so since the bodies die off rather quickly we keep having to move into new bodies. The soul animates the body and gives it the essence of life. The soul is aware of all events from the very beginning, everything that has ever happened in each lifetime and carries all of your information throughout existence. As the soul leaves the body, when the body has died,... it will return home. It doesn't go anywhere so to speak... it just tunes into the higher vibrations like tuning into a radio station. and returns to the higher planes of consciousness. As i understand it, once we cross over to the other side... at first we go to a big field of flowers where someone (in spirit form) greets you and makes you feel at home, and then everything is reviewed from that lifetime with a visit to the hall of records. everything is reviewed and reflected upon for some time. this could be a restful understanding or even an unpleasant affair according to your karma. it is decided how you wish to return to balance out the karma and for all the good guys ...a long rest to make the adjustment to an aware consciousness. you probably will meet all of your old friends..some will be waiting for you. usually souls in one lifetime will be found together in the next lifetime...they have a tendency to hang out together. This whole process can be if you choose..instantly or as in most cases , it lasts for some period. Maybe as long as 200 years. At some point you decide which body you want to be born into, and what type of circumstances you want to work on in this particular lifetime. You decide how the body will die and what circumstances... and at some time you move in to your new home. usually before the baby is born. Once all of your karma is cleared you can choose if you want to return to the physical plane. usually at this point you will have been helping millions of people with the seeing of God.... you exist in service to God, with total awareness. although you can work off karma on the higher planes, you can work it out faster on the physical plane. so we choose to reincarnate on the physical plane... and in this case planet earth. Cheers baba We call it thus because we observe souls entering and departing various
bodies....and to us we see it as ![]() FUQuestion : The benefits of science are in the magic of technological applications. Of course science doesnt get one any closer to enlightenment, but thats not a reason to devalue thought. I understand the value of meditation and the infinite profundity and the implications of chitti vritti, mindstuff modification, but thats not the sort of facts needed to satisfy my query. Buddha may not need to hear the facts, being already Nirguna Purusha, but Randy still has to deal with his gunas, one system of which insists he ask his reincarnation question on Askme.com. Why do so many enlightened fellows believe in reincarnation? Probably because they understand it and see that it is true, otherwise they would be empirically wrong, and thus somewhere ignorant and not truly enlightened. If the problem lies in that I just havent been assuming the correct meaning behind reincarnation, then this is where clarification is in order. And even that Im sure would be cleared up in meditation, but this I already knowmy question is not meaningless. I know you dont presume that, Im just making a point. What I need is an explanation of the reincarnation process. It is explainable because it is knowable, right? If you can explain why it isnt knowable, Id be quite satisfied. Either the reincarnation process is knowable or it isnt. And if its knowable, it must be explainable, communicable. Maybe the reincarnation process is not fully understood by you (I dont assume youre omniscientIm certainly not,) but perhaps, I thought, one of the experts on this board will have read a written account (a communication; a transfer of knowing, understanding) of the process of reincarnation that might be shared with me. This was my hope in posting my question. An explanation of the reincarnation process. Perhaps it is knowable, but only communicable by the vocabulary of meditation experiences? Is this the case? If so, please explain why. Blind faith is never a mark of intelligence, but sometimes society makes blind faith appear honorable or as an expression of conviction. Obviously, all knowing relies fundamentally on some form of faith, but blind faith does not lead to vidya, correct knowledge. I dont understand reincarnation. I assume you or someone else here does. So if you do, please tell me. With love, Randolph Thompson Dible ![]() IIFAQId : 8138848 Subject : Ether Question : This is a physics question, but the Askme physicists wouldnt quite get what I mean. Im having trouble understanding ether. According to my textbook of yoga psychology (which is The Textbook of Yoga Psychology by Mishra,) Out of akasha are evolved different materials (p.150.) Mishra also states that the whole universe is vibrating in prana and ether. I mean, Ive got the basic idea down, but Im hindered by heated denials of the existence of ether by modern physicists acting on their embarrassment of their field as it was a century ago. Modern physics admits a Higgs field to deal with the nothingness of the material universe it describes. I dont have great enough understanding of modern physics to quite get it, but I do have a great deal of faith in Samkhya physics. I guess the only place ether is absent is the singularity of a black hole? but nevermind that. Ideally for me, modern physics would agree with Samkhya physics and Id discover my ether problem to be a labeling problem. But I know the limits of my knowledge of physics and I know how ignorant some individuals and masses may be, plus Ive got some good understanding of paradigm shifts and I know my self to a greater extent than many, so Im ready to be educated. Educate me. Answer : there is a city floating in the ethers above the Sphinx in Egypt. Do You know this city? It rest in the etheric atmosphere directly above the Sphinx.. if you look at it with your earthly eyes you will not see it. It would appear invisible to your eyes. But yet it can be seen and you can travel to this city. Beings of Spirituality and light in this city. you can study etheric and pranic structure there. but to get there? you would have to travel in your etheric body. Leave your physical body behind. You did say you knew yourself.... ![]() Answer : We cannot discover the secrets of the universe by looking outside of ourselves. All discovery of truth is within the Self. Physics and most sciences are looking at the result and trying to figure it out. to see the true picture we must see the source of the result. it's like western medicine treats the symptoms and not the root cause.... their (the scientists) discovery is of the physical plane and physical laws of existence. the answer lies in non existence. and that is not on the physical plane. your intuition seems to be guiding you It seems the answer is the question itself. . Rating : Thank You. ![]() FUQuestion : I'm not opposed to that idea. But that's not an answer to my question. Please excuse my ambiguity, but you know what I mean. At least tell me precisely why modern physics is wrong. I mean, there is a system of physics in Samkhya philosophy. A system of physics; a system for our earthly eyes is explained in the Samkhya system, as well as in other such doctrines. I tend to believe that the Samkhya physics is more correct than modern physics, but my belief is not well enough founded. This is where I need help. If there is no way for me to understand such things except through meditation, I'd tend to see the nature of meditative experience as confabulatory. But I'm sure it's not, so I need an explaination. By the way, yes I do know myself. Maybe not as well as some great Yogis or something, but more than average physicists and Americans in general-- this is the point I was making. Thank you. ![]() FAQId : 8146683 Subject : Siddhi Question : If one truly achieves omnipotence and omniscience (and omnividence, etc ) in the state of Samadhi, why doesnt anyone choose to end wars with such power? Does the application of such power defy the law of conservation of energy in the universe or something? Or is it that the effects of such power are only know to the producing individual? Are there really such powers? Answer : Then You must reach samadhi and end the wars. Then you will see the power first hand, instead of someone telling you about it in the physical plane of life there is peace and there is war. It is the nature of existence. the duality is always present on the physical plane. baba Rating : ![]() FAQId : 8150214 Subject : does daily meditation really help to relief stress Question : does meditation really help to relief stress? Answer : Guaranteed stress buster. Hi Sujushrestha Yes 1000% Meditation is a Godsend. It dispels stress, it will lower your blood pressure, it will relax you, and center you.... it will raise your awareness level it can raise your consciousness right up to Samadhi. it will renew you and energize you... it will fill your whole being with Light and love. This doesn't begin to describe the complete picture. stress is an illusion. but we give it energy and it becomes real for those that choose to experience it. Meditation will show us what is real, so we don't identify with the wrong stuff. Meditation will take your awareness out of the world level and redirect that awareness to what is inside you. The truth of all existence lies within you, and meditation will take you straight to the truth...Straight to God. There are many types of meditation, for however you are feeling... A good starting place, and you will discover for yourself.... is your breath. it's the breath of God... within your breath you will find such a peace... just be aware of it while you are doing your daily stuff...and your stress will vanish. it is always with you and you don't have to bring anything or create anything... it won't even interfere with anything that you are doing.... you can also sit with this meditation on the breath... instantly the stress will disappear... and then the truth begins to emerge. The reason for stress is because the truth has not been unveiled.. we live in a world full of thought... stress is within the thought suffering is within that thought. we have been taught since birth to focus our attention outside of ourselves... and so, we have been taught to think about everything... the mind is constantly in gear and never becomes quiet and still. If we can make the mind still... without any ripples.. picture this: throw a stone into a pond or pool of water and the surface, becomes rough with all of the ripples of the the water.. at that moment you cannot see the bottom of the pool, and cannot see what is down there... when the water stops the ripples and the water becomes still again, you can see through to the bottom and whatever else is in that water.... all of the ripples are our thoughts... only we have an almost nonstop parade of events in our mind...so the ripples never stop. we seem to always have some activity of the mind... likewise, if we make still the mind... if we disperse the thoughts and let the activity of the mind become still,...then all of a sudden you can see through the illusion, you can see right through to God. this constant activity of the mind creates a veil interwoven with so many thoughts and mind stuff that we identify with, so the activity never stops. the ripples of the pool of water are always in motion...and in that there is no relief that is why there is stress, because it seems like there is no way out... this is the illusion what we have created with our thoughts... once again..when we stop having so many thoughts the veil loosens and some light shines through... the more the veil unravels and the ripples become still....Then we see what has always been. all we want to do is to become still.... without any distractions without any thoughts... become quiet and still and then we can be as we are.... as we have always been... Discover yourself... you are an eternal soul ... you are full of light. ...you can see this light when the veil loosens. meditation will loosen the veil so that the light of your soul will fill your awareness and your heart. there are techniques to meditate on the light, techniques to meditate on the symphonic silence within yourself, and some good information on all of this at my website. www.babainstitute.org there is a book that you can download for free that might be of help. Hope some of this has helped you to get rid of your stress. wishing you the best baba
![]() FAQId : 8171185 Subject : Posture Question : Can we do meditation in lying position also? Answer : Hi dolphin. Your question is your answer. but i will add some...... If you are having to be in a reclining position, 24 hrs, or confined to a bed, or some such situation, then yes meditation is good for you in a reclining position. Otherwise you will probably nod off, or go to sleep. The body thinks it to be rest time when you lay on your back. But yes, you can do meditation in any position, including laying down. the best is a constant meditation where ever you go and whatever you do, regardless of what position you are in. That way we are always in a state of meditation, without having to be in a certain position to achieve essence. But for people just getting into meditation, sometimes a formal sitting is best. we are deeply rooted in our mind activity and a very focused approach is somtimes necessary. Like sitting with your back straight and concentrating your energy within your center, or on the light or in the silence, or on the breath... Then there are certain yogic postures that are conducive to meditation.....Like the lotus position, or even the half lotus. But your flow of awareness should be constant and free of limitations. i offer my website www.babainstitute.org if it might be of any help in meditation. So, maybe you are the laying Buddha, that is in a constant state of awareness even when laying on her/his side? Take care of yourself Dolphin cheers baba
![]() FAQId : 8256753 Subject : human pulse Question : Dear expert How reduce pulse,I have a pulse between 80 to 84.Before one year ago my pulse is near 70 per minute. Is there any thing to reduce the pulse. Yours-RAJ Answer : let's try something... if you know this already ...no harm, ... create a space that is perfect. right where you are right now, within yourself. create a space within yourself in which every little thing is absolutely perfect. that simply means go within yourself and find your peace, and relax. not a space that.. everything is perfect but for this or maybe that... Not a space in which ...well yeah everything is perfect except for this one problem... But a place that has no problems, no worries, because it's just perfect. you can create this space within yourself... for it is the truth within. You can find this place within yourself for it has always been there. Thats why the breath is so valuable... to be aware of it... it will carry you to that space within yourself. Constant awareness of our essence {GOD} is a sheer joy to behold. because it is your perfect place within yourself. Maybe you know all about Absolute Essense, and meditation...don't mean to push stuff at you ... but there are many ways to unveil that perfect place within.... you can use your awareness and simply manifest a clear path to God...in a split second... or one can meditate on God through various techniques... Or one can simply do nothing... and become still. by just relaxing into themselves and observing the symphony of their existence...... Many ways to find that perfect place within...GOD But .... but nothing. Many good cheers be with you my friend. ![]() Answer : Hi Raj long time no hear from you... So, we know that the pulse is a regular beating in the arteries, caused by the contraction of the heart. If we have a problem, we usually give that problem all kinds of energy. We solidify it and make it real, by worrying about it and reinforcing it with our fear and our thoughts. One little thing becomes like concrete through our constantly reinforcing it with our thoughts and energy. eventually because we concentrate so much on the so called problem, it spreads because of our reinforcement of this issue. Over time these develop into full blown physical issues that overcome us. If we concentrate our energy, our awareness on God, then we aren't putting the reinforcement into making the problems. Seriously Raj... if we focus on God, all complications heal themselves. i believe this with my whole heart and soul, and it is my experience that this is completely true. If we only see our physical issues, they will continue to develop because we are giving it the energy and saying that it is real, and then we suffer. It becomes real because we have reinforced it with our mind and made it real..... If we focus our awareness on God all imbalances will heal. i know of a man that one leg was shorter by three inches. When he stopped focusing on the problem and started to focus on God... miraculously his leg grew exactly three inches to complete the balance that Gods energy gives. Miracle? No! just God's grace in action. God is perfection, when we focus on that perfection, and that is all we see, there is no room for any problems to exist, and everything heals. That is why i keep telling you about meditation. not some mantra, but the direct experience of God's energy... keep that your only vision, and all things that are troubling you will dissipate. It is your choice to make... whether to focus and create problems in the physical domain, or to focus on God and watch all of your problems heal themselves. Absolute Consciousness {GOD} heals and rebalances. Being focused on this energy will completely turn your life around. But you have to get beyond the limitations of your mind and your thoughts. Go straight to the source and keep your awareness there. God Bless Raj and take care where you place your thoughts and your energy and your awareness... for you can create the Healing light or you can create the suffering... Hatha Yoga is good for your mind/body/spirit. It will keep you in "tune". when i did hatha yoga i found that the body became very supple, and this perfect exercise will tone your whole body. when in certain positions... you can forget about your body, and meditation becomes almost innate. it is not for everyone. but if you feel it is for you then go for it. While doing the stretching of your muscles, the body becomes aligned, with the greater energy. There is usually breathing exercises that go hand in hand with the yogic postures, and a pointed centering takes effect. Certain yogic positions will actually energise certain chakras, (energy centers) thereby opening the channels and centers that energy flows through. with the increase in energy flow throughout your system..there are many many benefits to mind, body and soul. better heart condition, better flow of blood throughout your system, better blood pressure, better pulse rate and stronger...and an awareness that becomes active within you.... "usually a complete rejuvenation of your whole system." certain positions like the half lotus and full lotus, let you completely relax the body and, forget about it ... so you can focus on meditation. you can lose weight you can become balanced and focused.... it improves your concentration and attitude about yourself... and your awareness will become focused and will expand to greater horizons. there is a website www.expandinglight.org where you can ask the instructor specific questions about hatha yoga. hope this helps you. my website www.babainstitute.org will help you with meditation if you are interested. Good luck baba Answer : oops...missed some key points. When the body goes through various movements in hatha yoga, also the internal organs are massaged and stimulated....as per whatever position you are in. with a certain asana, a certain position, you could isolate a certain organ, along with a proper breathing technique. this would be an approach without interference.( thoughts, desires, attachments,etc...) Yoga Positions go one in one with meditation. With reaching that state of being still.... a balance between the two are reached where you are one with the universe. ![]() FAQId : 8299894 Subject : sleep Question : Is there any possible way to replace sleep through meditation? Answer : if i go to sleep while meditating on the light, when i arise the next morning, i am still aware of the light. my night will be completely restful, and i only remember being aware of the light during the night. i had heard that this was true. and my experience of that being true was in the experience itself. also if you fall asleep being aware of the breath, likewise , the experience is the same. We sleep because we identify with this world and all of the illusion. So we become tired because we have not realized that we are light. We think that we are the body and we identify with that so we believe all that follows in that line of thinking... we sleep and then we dream to escape the illusion. After we realize that we are light, and that we are an eternal awareness, we will see that we actually exist on light, and not the illusion. Cheers baba |
